Kia ora!
I’m an editor who helps academics, non-fiction authors, and non-profit organizations get their writing polished and publish-ready.
I’m a New Zealander-turned-Canadian living in British Columbia. I hold a Master of Engineering, specializing in geothermal reservoir modelling, and spent four years as an academic researcher. More recently, since moving to Canada, I have volunteered as the president of a rock climbing non-profit and currently act as the administrator of a community arts centre. I am currently enrolled in the Publishing Certificate at Ryerson University with an expected completion date of December 2023.
I am a curious person who loves to learn. My background as an engineering academic lends well to the scrupulous attention to detail and critical thinking required for editing, and allows me to specialize in working with scientific academic material.
Above, the view from Te Ahumata track on Great Barrier Island. A wonderful place that I miss dearly.
Below, some sheep hanging out on a beach on Waiheke Island. Because of course you are curious about Lord of the Rings, the All Blacks, and sheep...
